Biological state
Refers in the phylogenetic perspective and the phylogenetic model, to the complete range of genetic dispositions (see genotype) found in populations throughout the human species. It also includes biological structure and processes of the living body, for example the nervous system, the endocrine system, and our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. From a developmental point of view, biological state is more or less synonymous with maturation or organismic growth. Overall, then, "biological state" is humankind's complete biological-including genetic-endowment.
