Dictionary of Parental Acceptance Rejection TheoryDictionary of Parental Acceptance-Rejection Theory
The need to employ a variety of discrete, unrelated research procedures and methodologies in anthroponomical research in order to reduce or even eliminate the likelihood that the results achieved might be an artifact of the potential bias (i.e., systematic error) inherent in every measurement process. If the same results emerge across multiple but independent procedures and methodologies--each containing the potential for its own unique form of bias--then one can be reasonably confident the results are not an artifact of the measurements used. (See anthroponomy; convergence of methodologies and procedures; universalist approach
